Self-Cleaning Cushion Box

EBM Cushion Boxes are designed for 40° to 50° of incline. The cushion box's discharge flange can be shipped loose, for field installation, or can be welded to fit customer's specifications.

When installing the EBM Cushion Box in the field proceed as follows:

-Install so that the grain cushion (#3) is on the bottom

-Align the cushion box and the discharge flange (#4) to the desired spout angle.

-Attach the discharge flange to the cushion box.

NOTE: If welding, pull the grain cushion back from the weld point. Be sure to follow safe welding practices

NOTE: If self-tapping the discharge flange to the cushion box, be sure to seal the joint with silicone or equivalent to prevent water leaks.
